Year's End is a time to look back and forward...
Re: Year's End is a time to look back...
2018, that was the year that was and now we can look forward to total gridlock for the next 2 years in DC. The best thing that can happen for we the people.

First thing Nancy's gonna do is push the bill to fund all those departments currently shut down, except for Homeland Security. The 'Crats don't want that. Second thing she stated: raise the debt ceiling. In order for the 'Crats to do their good work, they cannot be bothered with budgets or spending caps. Raise taxes and spend, spend, spend!
If you agree with the Progressives, it's freedom of speech. If you disagree, it's hate speech. There are no alternatives.

Someone should "deposit" about 4 or 5 hundred "caravanners" in HER back yard and let them mingle!

Nancy and her husband are multi-millionaires. they can afford to take care of them.
Re: Year's End is a time to look back...
That's nice, because I can't afford to take care of them.
On another note, I'll bet Mr. and Mrs. P. have their own WALL....er fence. Do you think they'll let those caravanners in???

No they don't have a wall or fence around their place. I don't think they will let anyone in to their place....

That may be true for many but I doubt for all.
The owls may indeed not be what they seem but still serve an imperative function: they remind us to look into the darkness.

That is basically the gist of my comment. Their politics might bite them on the butt some day.

Since we hijacked this thread I think Murph should rename it from "Year's End is a time to look back..."
To "Year's End is a time to look forward..."

To "Year's End is a time to look forward..."

Did you guys allow The Hobo Jungle to fade away and die?

Tramp, you started the Hobo Jungle Mon Mar 15, 2004 9:15 am. It is 1790 page long. I took the time awhile back to read it from the beginning. It appears that most of those that were in the jungle have faded away over the years.

No hijacking occurred . You took it where you wanted it to go. Good.
And as far as a better name and direction for this thread, see what I have done to its title...

Personally I don't care what anything is named on MTJ. When I first found it I read everything that was already here.
Since then I have read everything that has been posted. I have in some manner enjoyed it all. Many topics are gone
from what was here in the past. It is probably not possible to keep everything. Many of you would know better than I.
Sometime ago I posted many photos of my layout in chronological order. It took a while to do that. After a good initial
response viewing dropped off and it was removed. I understand. I have never taken time to repost any of my layout.
Anyone that has been here for a while knows that this is my favorite forum. I am a 3 railer but read all of the 2 rail
stuff also. I am a fan of any kind and size of trains.
Now why did I post any of this?
