A Maine coastal town MUST have lobster traps. They were wood in 1956. Now they are metal.

She's sitting on the roof of Universal Supply Company. You have to look real close to see the red shoes. I wasn't sure about the naked part, she's kind of soft focus.

Maybe it's a copy of her favorite porn magazine, and she wants one last drool before saying, "Goodbye, cruel world." The town does look a bit starved for stimulation, doesn't it.

When scrolling down the photos, I was playing back the theme music from TCM's Noir Alley in my head. The town seems "gritty", down on its luck.
