That looks like a Hallmark Miniature of the Lionel model to me.

Yes, it's a Hallmark type thing. Everyday 3-4 people email wanting me to cancel their bids. They feel i mislead them into bidding on an functioning locomotive. I have people email me and ask " Is a display case included with this? do you have blueprints with it?." Most are so quick to jump at a $20.00 bid. Everyone of them wanting to get it and resell for $300. that they fail to read. Yes my description is short. It's not placed in an o scale section and it states "miniature"

Actually, it is listed in O Scale: Locomotives so it is easily misleading given the average reading comprehension level of the population; particularly so since you do not have Hallmark Miniature in the title. Pretty sure that there are actual specific category listings for Hallmark stuff.

It’s not a really a hallmark. Nowhere on the box does it say hallmark. I have it listed in a section called other scales. I listed these items from my phone. 30 seconds later they had bids.by the time I tried with my laptop to expand the descriptions. I was not allowed .making an eBay listing by iPhone is great for photo uploading and horrible for typing descriptions. Live and learn.

Maybe you think that's where it's listed but when I look at it, this is what comes up:

Listed in category: Toys & Hobbies - Model Railroads & Trains - O Scale - Locomotives

and maybe that's why you are getting so many bids, too.

Robert,

I didn't see your post until after your auction had ended, but what you had was a small replica of a Lionel engine that was very popular among toy train buyres when it first came out. Lionel made them as a commemorative/collectible type of thing. Your biggest error (in my opinion) was not giving it's measurements or putting something in one of your images (a ruler maybe) to indicate it's size. Your hand could be barely seen in the one image, which was a bit of a giveaway, but greed had likely taken over at that point and the bidders thought they might be stealing a full size engine.

I belonged to the TCA years back, and I think there might have been an article in their quarterly regarding these "commemoratives". I think another in the series was a Sante Fe F3 diesel. I'm guessing if you go over to OGR and ask you'll get a pile of answers. Ebays listing categories leave a lot to be desired.

Sayoc, a registered Republican, has a lengthy criminal history in Florida dating back to 1991. He had been arrested and accused of threatening to use a bomb in 2002 and has also been arrested for felony theft and on drug charges. His 2002 arrest affidavit states that he threatened Florida Power & Light Co., claiming he would blow up their headquarters and "it would be worse than September 11th."

Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a 2:30 p.m. press conference that Cesar Sayoc, 56, from Aventura, Florida, faces five federal charges and up to 58 years in prison after he was arrested earlier Friday. He confirmed the five charges are: interstate transportation of an explosive, illegal mailing of explosives, threats against former presidents and certain other persons, threatening interstate communications and assaulting federal officers.

I haven't been too enamored of what has been said so far. I was hoping for more, having been reminded of her in the News this morning and continue to marvel at the phenomenon of her.
Please ignore my request, everybody.

Why are most celebrities celebrities? Movie stars, TV personalities, politicians
and some others are just because that is what they are. Kardashian somehow,
unknown to me, got into that group partly by being in a TV program. Unfortunately
it seems that many of the mass killers, or doers of stupid things, found that others
become noted for something and they also want that notice also.
All part of everybody having access to instant information.
