Then there are these famous lips.

Image

The press is just so sure Angelina Jolie has had plastic surgery on her lips.
Nope! Part is makeup. Whoever did her makeup did not keep the lipstick inside the line of her natural lips.
And part is the lips she inherited from Jon Voight.

Image

Don't be fooled by the lipstick, look under the makeup and see the natural line of her lips.

A cat? Really? What kind of cat? Mostly dead?

She looks like she was too close to one of those test sites in Nevada when they did open air nuclear bomb detonations. I keep hearing Margaret Hamilton's voice "I'm melting, I'm melting" when I see her picture.
Once I built a railroad, I made it run,
Made it race against time.
Once I built a railroad, now it's done --
Brother, can you spare a dime?

Just a large cat was all the press reported, however, with that hair, the comparison with a male lion is inevitable.

Or, maybe Vincent.

Amen to that, Chuck.
And if we consider that photo of Ms Versace which good ol' Wayne posted, frankly, I think she looks like a bad (unfortunate) cross-dressing fellow or a transgender (not that there's anything wrong with that) individual who got a bit carried away with how important it was to have super-full "lips" (link-sausages?) Maybe I am alone in that revulsion, but a Statement is being made, nonetheless, by such a face, in my opinion, whether applauded or rejected by most people.

IMO, the lion actually looks better = more NATURAL; that is, even LESS scary. One pair of eyes is, at least, telling the truth about itself and about its relationship to others. The other pair is lying to itself and to anybody who comes near to such self-delusion. One is overly thrilled with itself. The other is just itself.

Yet, she is a beautiful - exceptional, really - and a courageous woman. She had a double-mastectomy, as a preventive measure, and considering her profession and the premium it places on physical appearance, I am so glad she came out of the ordeal so healthy looking.

P.S. The tattoos are a surprise, to me, but I imagine she had her good reasons.

The tattoos--she is psychotic.

Appearance--Her agent had a hissy fit when she started getting tattoos. Told her she would never work in motion pictures again. How wrong he was. They either cover her tattoos with clothing or makeup. She is the second highest paid actress in Hollywood at $28 million per film.

Beautiful--If she wants to be. She has the talent to be as ugly as the script calls for (without makeup.) Remember her role as FOX? This is the face she came up with when FOX turned killer...

Image

It is also the face Brad Pitt saw every morning before she had her coffee.

You can certainly turn a clever phrase, and present a provocative hypothesis, too ! I am getting a kick out of reading that because I had wondered what had happened to cause them to separate and could not imagine it was he who was the problem. People and life are complicated, huh.

Tattoos make a statement.

Especially when the person ages and the skin sags/wrinkles, the inks oxidize, etc.
