Re: Statements
Is that the yard of a local stilettoed, vinyl-clad black onesie wearing angry hot babe, with whom a certain forum denizen has an intense zumpin-zumpin ?

Perfect. You have me smiling ear-to-ear and chuckling right out loud, Wayne.
I wasn't finished, look again.
Your remarkably more detailed reply reminds me of a young man named "Shorpy," ( I believe I got that right) who worked in a coal mine, famously.
Also, "She must have been a riot at tea parties." Now that is funny stuff.

Not a chance. More likely one of your neighbors that wear's a leather mask and likes chainsaws.....

Naw, he was hired to watch out for the bears and coyotes roaming the area, so the income has helped make him a contributing member of the community . That's his house Roy asked about, behind that black Cadillac Fleetwood .

Statement on Rufus' hanging baby dolls statement.
As noted in The City of Chicago v. Alexander (2014), "The [F]irst [A]mendment does not guarantee the right to communicate one's views at all times and places or in any manner that may be desired."
Some of these may be protected free speech, some not.

I would suggest that bad taste, ignorant, and low class isn't necessarily unlawful.

You are correct in that statement Murph.

You have the right to hang a doll of any color you like. On your own property. You don't have the right to do it own someone else's property.

Re: Statements
So much, for making the world safe for democracy. If the democracy doesn't suit us, we'll gladly install a pro-American dictatorship, such as the Shah of Iran.

Re: Statements
That's right, Roy. Under Pahlavi rule in Iran, the people were free and young men and women were educated equally, until the Carter Administration came along and gave no support whatsoever, ushering in Islamic rule under the Komeini regime, and the whole country went to hell. Pretty much the same as Egypt under Mubarak. Egypt wasn't the best place to live in the Mid-East, but the Obama Administration wouldn't support Mubarak, and along comes the "Islamic Spring", and now life really sucks for the Egyptians. In that area of the world, unless you have a sure fire plan to implement and maintain democracy, it's better to leave the dictator in power, 'cause what you're gonna end up with can be far worse.

If you agree with the Progressives, it's freedom of speech. If you disagree, it's hate speech. There are no alternatives.

Re: Statements
I wonder what ever happened to the royal family. Wasn't the wife an American, by birth and origin?
Also, here is another Statement from the same moment in their history...

Re: Statements
I'm pretty confident that the "Arab Spring" was largely the product of the neoconservative faction (Cheney, Wolfowitz, Perle, Bremer, Abrams, et al) of the Bush II administration during and following the 2003 invasion of Iraq. They were the "pro-democracy" bone-heads driving the start of this whole "revolution". That train had left the station long before Obama became president.
