A safety warning sign with yellow letters on a white background?

I would fire the entire safety committee.

Someone with good color vision tell me what color the sign lettering looks to you.

I can't read the sign in Christopher's photo. The lettering on Christopher's photo looks like a very washed-out yellow. The contrast with the sign color is very low.

Color is irrelevant in this case. A train crew should no about bridge clearance before they start their trip.

A long time ago, NJ license plates were white characters on a cream colored background. Made it easier for the bad guys to get away.

Yellow letters on black, OK. Black letters on yellow, not as good but readable. A sign like that should be red on white or maybe red on black.

The sign looked like it had red lettering originally. It's been there forever, so it's obviously very very faded at this point.

Thank you, Christopher. So, someone with good color vision might see pink (faded red) and dirty white.

The Safety Committee is still fired, they failed to put the clearance of the bridge on the low clearance warning sign.

I love that photo, reminds me of the clearance problems we get from the Lionel Testle set. No scale three stack auto carriers under this set-up.

The high security item is a new Army Drop Center Flatcar with three wheels on the close side and twelve wheels on the far side.
