Given all the ridiculous rubbish that the Grammy awards did broadcast "live", I'd put Hannigan's performance way above what passed for music on Sunday :!:

It was on in the background while I was reading a book for a while -- I was thinking that there was a shred of a possibility that I might recognize more than 1 performer in the course of the entire streaming pile of dreck. And, there was and I was even more disappointed afterwards.

Great pic found while digging through mountains of files at NARA:

Lee Turner was my verbal and e-mail guide on this. Without him, it would look even worse. Thoughts?

Perhaps a little rust trail under the clean-out and build plates, light and liquidy.

I hope all you hobos who will be out there shoveling SNOW tonight or tomorrow morning will pace yourselves and be careful about not pushing yourselves too hard. Please. Be considerate of yourself. Take your time. Work little by little. The snow will wait for you.

We were pushing 70 today and 80+ tomorrow.

We got 5-6 inches last night. By 2pm it was almost gone. Tuesday could be 70 degrees they say.

It was close to 60 on Fri, dropped to low 30's on Sat, snowed - 1-3" mixed in with rain - Sun up into the 50-60's and all the snow long gone, up to the 70's tomorrow and high 70's by Wed.

I will be totally ready for more snow since this seems to be a roller-coaster winter.

Yeah, two weeks ago I was walking around in short sleeves and now we're getting cascading storms.
