Anybody recall "Five Million Years to Earth" ? Even as teenagers, we thought it was mega-corny, but fun. And weird.

Ok, turn your amp up to 11......................David Bowie Vancouver 1976 Rehearsals - Station To Station & Suffragette City

Watch and listen closely and see Bowie flub lyrics a few times while having a fun time in rehearsal.

I saw a good bit of the movie, "Cold Mountain," tonight and was reminded I still hadn't made it all the way through the movie one complete time yet. I'm not sure why. Does anybody recommend this movie?

Never saw it. Last Film I saw that I really enjoyed was "No Country For Old Men"!

One of my least favorite movies that "everyone" but me seemed to think was just great was Ghost Busters.
I tried to watch it several times and would always fall a sleep several times. I never paid to see it. When I
pay to go to a movie or rent one I try very hard to see it all.

Some fine acting there, particularly some of the dialogue portions, thinking Tommy Lee Jones and Barry Corbin. Also the general sparsity.

Never saw it, never had any desire to see it. I could tell that from the previews. Silly.

I haven't seen No Country for Old Men, but the Coen brothers make good stuff.
Torturers, White Racists, Gay Bashers, Rich Psychopaths.

The original or the remake? The latter was apparently one of the worse movies made in few decades. The original has some the best comedy writing in many decades

the Coen brothers make good stuff.

Indeed! I have enjoyed all that I have seen.
