Those are exceptional figures. Those passenger car insert people look like they were left to near a heat source and then "painted" by those lemurs :-)

Yes, I like them. I recognize them from Baker's Railroad Shop. I don't know what happened to Roy Baker, he seems to have disappeared from this realm of existance. He always was hard to find, hidden in the trees off Highway 97.

This apparent "disappearance" has turned out to be a "situation" for me. I have been using the same info you provided, which as you know I have had, and as a result I am very concerned:
1.) my wife and I sent Roy a gift, which was reported to us to have been delivered "to the back door " last Wednesday .
2.) Roy always calls us after receiving something from us. No call, thus far.
3.) We called Roy yesterday and today and were told the landline number we had for them was " not in service."
4.) I sent him an e-note, today, and had it returned as undeliverable .
5.) I am alarmed enough to consider taking the 3hour drive to his house to see if he and they are okay; perhaps, when the weather is totally clear (which means, for me, from ny/nj all the way west to North Dakota.)

I am appealing to your powers , Wayne. Got any bright ideas about this?
Frank

If you are really concerned Murph, you should call the county sheriff where he lives and ask them to do a welfare check.

Tom just gave the best idea.

Does he have a wife named Irene? If so, here is an alternate phone number.
Name: Roy Baker
Address: 15067 NY-97 Route 97
Residence Place: Long Eddy, New York
Zip Code: 12760
Phone Number: 914-887-4596
Spouse: Irene

Thank you, both. I will try both tomorrow; first the number for his wife, Irene , which is the same one you and I both have had, Wayne, except for the area code; then the sheriff. Thanks very much.

Maybe they have gone south for the winter.
We don't carry cell phones with us all the time .
Maybe they don't either.
Hoping for the best, Murph.
Let us know.
I remember that he had an interesting assortment
of O scale figures as evidenced by your scenes.

Receiving a busy-signal from the number provided by Wayne, from last night straight thru to this morning, was my limit. So, I called the Delaware County Sheriff's Dept. and asked for assistance. They contacted the Bakers at home and learned of their being safe and well, and of having a new land-line phone number, which was given to me by the sheriff's dispatcher.

Thank you, Tom, for urging me to contact the sheriff's dept. It was the right idea.

Wayne, Thank you, again, for that phone number which included a different Area Code but all the same numbers otherwise. It being constantly busy is what pushed me over-the-edge to act. I had wondered if they were the victims of some sort of home invasion, or of carbon monoxide.

Roy and his wife and I just completed a nice phone conversation, and I feel a whole lot better. He was especially amazed that I was prepared to drive to his home to see if anything were amiss. He felt good about that. I did, too.

The Delaware Sheriff's Dept. was most cordial and co-operative and helpful, reconfirming my mindset that I enjoy interacting with police.

He said he was present @ the TCA Meet this past October, @ York, PA, but that lugging all his cases had become quite a chore. And I believe he is looking forward to the next show @ W. Springfield, MA. , having paid the $300+ fee.
