Re: Take a Knee
Anybody know why one should not say something like, "I'll have a pizza pie" ?
I do.
Re: Take a Knee
No but I always ask for a 757. If I’m taking it home I ask for a 757 cleared for takeoff

In my hometown area and around Wheeling,WV, the best pizza was from DiCarlos according to my relatives and friends. I don't like pizza.
Di Carlos is a 4'X 6' or 8' sheet that was cut into foot square pieces. My wife thinks it is the best.

Re: Take a Knee
Now you all know that I like thread drift but how did this one get from "take a knee" to pizza?

Maybe he should try making better pizza.....

I've never heard that from anyone before. I love pizza, but haven't been able to eat it, because of my medication.

Are you kidding, Murph? Car salesmen are vultures. They'd be on it like stink on shite! Most here work for $250 a week plus commission. If you go a month with no sales, you're history. Our salesmen at our Ford and CJDR get $75.00 commission on a new car, 12% of profit on a used car. That's why they'll lie to a customer and tell them they're gettin' the best deal ever with a creampuff car. I could never be a car salesman. Too honest! If I work on your car and there's a $5 bill layin' on the console, there'll probably be a $20 there when you pick it up!

Pizza is one of the salties things there is. Salt leads to heart attacks and stroke.

You gotta say "I'd a lika a large a pie please! When they ask if you'd like it cut into 6 pieces or 8, you say; Better make it 6, I don't think I can eat 8!
I had Domino's 20 years or so ago and it wasn't too bad as I recall. Never had Papa John's. One of the WORST I ever had was my first trip to Pizza Hut, waaaaaaay bzck when. Received a thin crust with a bit of tomato sauce smeared on it. No cheese was harmed in the production of that pizza!
That said, I have had some excellent pizza at the "Hut", though it was many years after that first trip. I've also had some excellent frozen done at home, and some "not so much" of the same.
The worst I had was given to me by a neighbor in a generic box.....should have thrown away the pie and ate the box!

That phrase is to polite and long for NYC. "Give me a pie". Nuff said.
