Old news.

CONCORD, NC – October 15, 2015 –– Lionel, America’s leading manufacturer of model trains and accessories, announced today that it has acquired a broad range of tools from Weaver Models for the expansion of its “Made in the USA” product line.

“Our ‘Made in the USA’ products have been met with an incredibly positive reception in the model railroad community, and there has been an ongoing effort on our side to expand our ‘Made in the USA’ line,” said Lionel President Howard Hitchcock.

“While we are sorry to see Weaver Models close its doors, I want to thank them for giving us the opportunity to acquire a wide range of l tooling that will continue their tradition of production in the United States,” Hitchcock continued.

Product offerings from the new tools will be incorporated into Lionel Trains’ plans throughout 2016 and 2017. The company’s long-term goal is to release a full Ready-To-Run set under the “Made in the USA” umbrella.

Yes, "USD" stands for, "United States Dollars."

Which reminds me, I need to send some GBP's to my hobby shop in Blackpool before they cancel my order.

Thank you, both.
That's what I thought/theorized, but the price seemed so low I figured I was not understanding where extra zeros might be understood to belong, if at all.

Seems totally extravagant to me - cost of a domain name is relatively cheap; well under $100.

This would only have value to someone named Weaver selling models.....
