Yup. No problem.
Weirdest winter on record, however.
Especially considering that a couple of days prior, end of January, I was out in a t-shirt, burning brush, and saw a live grasshopper.

Amalie, the fence is 6 scale feet tall so that should equal out to 1 1/2 inches tall. Thank You!!!!!! :D

The whistle alone was worth the price.

My post from last January, when Tramp pulled his whistle (TRAIN whistle, that is) over the phone:

"Two were chime-whistles; classic, but not the one I was after. It was his 'Virginian' that got to me the first time, and all over again last night. It's a one-note wavering mournful hoot, and tails downward a half-note at the end. Puts me to mind of an Uilleann pipe, and sounds like the saddest Irish song that ever was, and pretty much tells a hobo's life in one long blow."

Jon, photos should be there. Post the best one if you wish. If you need better ones, D says she'll try again. Not sure how you get such clear shots.

Penn, for fucksakes go easy. We're hobos not bobos.

Is it the QSI or the TMCC version? Gary said it was one of the best models they ever made except for the screwed up lettering on the tender which you fixed. Did you weather the boiler or dusty? NICE!!!!

TMCC. Sorry about the dust. It really does run great. I believe it is one of 48 made in 3 rail. It's numbered on the bottom.

Tramp, Dusty or not, It's a stunning piece!!!! (excellent shots from the D'ster) Gary had mentioned he had the exact two rail version in his personal collection. He also agreed with you, that due to the short pilot the engine will look just fine on 72 dia. track. About a 2" overhang in curves, so Plasticville people be warned!!!!
I'm scratching my head as to what in my meager roundhouse I would have for an equal trade and I'm coming up with a blank!!!!!
Was that engine specifically designed to just haul coal or did it see freight duty as well?
