Homo sapiens are the most intelligent, being at the bottom, so they throw the most poop. Poop throwing runs in cycles, becomeing most intense every four years.

Decades ago, when the Central Park Zoo was still intact, I saw a seated and leaning gorilla reach 'round to his backside, grab a gob, and hurl it at a loud, yapping, snot-nosed kid he had taken a distinct dislike to, judging from his facial expression. Everybody around the outdoor half of his cage could see his increasing ire at the kid, everybody but the mother, who was oblivious, twirling her hair and cruising a dude, it seemed, instead of being alert to the shenanigans apes can pull - pull - get it? He was quite famous with New Yorkers, in his time, because he was friendly and mischievous; I believe his name was Coco.

Remember Jane Goodall? She is 83 now. She explains, "In their natural habitat, when chimpanzees become angry, they often stand up, wave their arms, and throw branches or rocks – anything nearby that they can get their hands on."
