Those are truly amazing for drawings. I think he injected some "gotcha's" on purpose. Look at the blowing smoke in the top drawing. Smoke blowing the same way although the image is reversed (mostly). In the 2nd drawing he left out the lightning. I'm sure if we look deeper we'll find some other little differences thrown in by the artist for fun.

Incredible drawings!

He must be terribly excited about the success he is having. Having his artwork accepted in a significant gallery in NYC, no less, has got to beyond the coolest of cool feelings.God Bless him. I am glad for him, indeed.

Had cataract surgery on my right eye Wednesday.

Right now I can't see worth beans. My left eye is severely nearsighted but pretty good with glasses. Both eyes need trifocals for reading and computer use. The magnifications needed are different for the two eyes.

I'm using my glasses so I can see the computer through the trifocals with my left eye but that makes everything the right eye sees blurry. I took the right lens out of my last pair of glasses. That sort of works for distance vision but often gives double vision because of the different focal lengths.

I get the lens in the left eye replaced in 12 days.

Takes a good 2 weeks to get over that and acclimatize to the changes.

I will end up getting mine done eventually and not looking forward to it as it takes 2-3 people to just put drops in my eyes.

Also seriously nearsighted - detached retinal that was repaired on one side that added 2 diopters to that side and an alignment prism - I can't use bifocals or anything other than another pair of glasses. !/2 the places I go to get new lens won't do them, and the other 1/2 charge me better than $300 for a set.

Give it time......

My mother went through this a few years ago, it was really difficult for her after the surgeries for a few weeks, but she was soon happy she did it. Give it time, almost all outcomes are improvements after a few weeks time.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. Seeing through the lens of your experiences has clarified things.

However the surgery doesn't fix everybody. Both of my eyes were done several years ago (I don't remember when) and I think I see better than
before I still have many problems. I have prisms for alignment and Fresnel lenses to capture(?) light but it is not good enough. Hard to read
and I seldom drive at night. When I do it is in our small town. I have been paying $300.00+ for many years for glasses. My wife had her eyes
done before me and she has had no problems and can see with no problems. She does use reading glasses.

The drawings are an attempt of capturing the fourth dimension in the second dimension. I believe this is new to art.

Traditionally, most ascribe the 4th dimension as being "Time".

That's probably not actually correct.

It is correct when applied to Tramp's drawings.
