That video, like many I have seen like it, showing the same disgrace in what people are expected to accept in that society, demonstrates how little the individual is respected in that entire society. How sad. And shameful. IMO .

It's always been amazing to me how plants establish a place for themselves, no matter how small the space, no matter the danger around and above, insinuating themselves anywhere they determine is doable, where they are going to get the water and light they need. I've seen little short plants grow themselves in a seam that runs across a concrete roadway, just tall enough to reach the top of their little niche, but not so tall as to get abused. They get the water they need from the runoff and the sunlight from the world above them. Wonderful.
