I take it to the recycle bin with the blue lid, supplied by Waste Management's recycling program (free of charge.)

I think we need some clarification. Do you tidy up your backside, place used paper in a can, then dump it into a mixed recycling bin?

Sell it to a paper recycling company.

Educate me. Is the length and subject of this conversation embarrassing for us all ? Has it gone as far and as long as it should go?

Maybe I should delete all my participation in it.

I find the conversation interesting. I didn't know this existed. I don't find it embarrassing. Maybe some people do.

Frank, remember we had said how thread drift leads to us learning about things we didn't know. :D

OK.

You will need to go back to page 27 of Re: "...What a long, strange trip it's been..." where you asked,
MurphOnMillerAve wrote:(When do we get to see more photos of you gamboling about the desert? It's a picture of you and your dirt bike that helps keep me motivated to continue my 2mi early morning walks 3-4xs per week. For real.) :D Murph

and delete the request for a photo of me gamboling.

Then back to page 1742 of this thread, where I responded by posting a photo of my road bike next to the recycled sewer water lake named, "Silverbell Lake", here in Tucson--where water is so precious we use it over and over.

And I will delete all my posts about recycling things.

I think Wayne is pulling our collective leg, about saving used toilet paper. I would imagine the great bulk of flushed paper can be sanitized and recycled, just as the water can be. But please, don't let my words dissuade you from collecting shit, if you're so inclined.

Roy, no recycled toilet paper that I know of is recycled from used toilet paper, flushed or not flushed.

Seventh Generation Bathroom Tissue is made from 100% recycled paper (50% post-consumer content, 50% pre-consumer content) and is whitened without chlorine bleach. The post-consumer paper comes from old newspapers, shredded documents, junk mail etc, etc (NO USED TOILET PAPER!) The pre-consumer paper comes from sources such as printers' scraps, publisher overruns and returns, merchant return stock, obsolete inventories from distributors, printers, trimmings from book and magazine binding, etc, etc.
