Tramp, nice picture. I surely hope that was taken 2 months ago.

Got to love it—March! "Bring it on, Bitch!" as said by the Pinkman.

How 'bout it. That's what I meant when you reach a point in the winter when 20 is sweatshirt weather, and you don't care anymore WHAT winter brings, and shoveling a few hundred feet of drifted-in driveway becomes "quality time with the kids".

Redwings and blackbirds are back, to join the grackles.

Someday tell me the story of the Pinkman.

Sarge, two's company, three is more company! It would be cool for me to hear yours and Mitch's perspectives. I've read several books, but I have no doubt there is so much more to learn and grasp.

Well alright! It was your photo essay that inspired it. I hope we can pull this off!

Went to G-burg many decades ago with the family, and then spent 4 years there at the college. There are a couple of building on campus that are registered CW sites including the Admin building (several occupants reside there from that era still....). And the Eisenhower house is also part of the campus.

That entire South-Central area has a lot of history in it that has been overshadowed and buried.

I was reading a 97 Model Railroader and came across a ad for a 1:32 Row & Co. Big Boy. Only 75 made, didn’t give the weight, 4’2” long, 10’ min. R. $11,250. brass and stainless.

Dirt, that photo was put up the day it was taken. Extra foot the day before yesterday. 6 degrees this morning. Pinkman is a character from the best TV show ever made. He uses that expression quite famously a few times. The show is so addictive that I no longer recommend it to friends because they lose their jobs, ruin their marriages, their health, etc. because they keep watching one episode after another.

Healey, the only reason I cleaned off the porch was so the beverage cart wouldn't have any issues getting through.

Jon, the York crew have arrived! Now to evict those skinny Chinamen. Have you removed them before? Are they glued?

Would you like one of these? They have become rather valuable and I only have a few left—lowest numbers.

I'll second that. The depictions of those 4 Legends are marvelous!

Starbucks to encourage baristas to discuss race relations with customers.

One reason I don't buy coffee from anyone who calls themselves a "barista", whatever that is.

Its lots of fun when some pimple-faced social activist idiot talks to me about diversity. Ask them if they have ever even been out of the country, let alone lived someplace outside the USA amongst a different culture. Have they ever served anything larger than themselves for the common good? Do four years in the military, or the peace corps, or something larger than you that you can believe in, then come see me. If you believe, then commit and do. Earn the respect for your "talk".

I'm with you Jon. Until they earn the credence, shut up and pour my coffee. Oh and by the way, that half-cwt doughball is not a scone!

They can make an investment in the "greater good" with their lives and wealth potential rather than just blow rhetorical chunks at me uninvited.

LOL, Sarge! You hit the proverbial nail on the head!! And for the record, anyone who has ever partaken of a real scone would never pay for another one!

AMEN to that one, brothers. I, who can empty out a bakery in a single-bound, pass those lumps by, with enthusiasm! I can just imagine how much exercise it would take to have a "lump-ectomy" to remove the excess poundage inflicted by those carbo-wads.
