I've never seen a Xingu beer for sale anywhere. But I get a chuckle out of Tramp telling me one time it was like drinking burnt oatmeal.
Hopefully I'll stumble across a bottle some day and can give my worthless assessment!

Andre, I did check them out. They can not ship to Mississippi. I've got to attend a class in Boca Raton some time this Spring, though.

Unique.
I never try burn oatmeal, but this beer taste like golden syrup. No refined cane sugar syrup.
In South America is commonly used to prepare beverage and some food.

Jon, wanted you to know that I did not miss this passing by...

...and to let you know how completely honored I/we felt to be 'immortalized' like this on such a beautiful layout. (The only other time was when Tramp mentioned me in the intro to his book).

The young lady doing business alongside my pub is a damn close facsimile to the real one, (who is a bit shorter, but whose cleavage is spot on). Our first date was an all-day thing, but we ended the night at a bar in Lewisburg, and she had on a blouse that kept slipping off her shoulder, and she'd hike it back up and it would fall off the other shoulder. I was gone, man, solid gone. We're married 20 years, but when that blouse starts getting unbuttoned, I still worry each and every time that I'm going to have a coronary.

I got a question for you, whether you have room on your world for another building. Lemme know sometime.
Thanks again, bro.

Let us down here in alligatorland know when. Mouth of the Rat is only about fifteen miles or so north of me and I suspect that Andre is even closer.

I have to chime in here. I just bought a six pack of Xingu Black Beer at Luke's Liquor Store in Rockland, MA. They also had single, 20 oz. bottles of Xingu Golden Beer. I bought the beer for my brother's birthday because we spent a year of high school in Brazil. We haven't tried it yet so I don't know what it tastes like.

Tramp, your label design is classic! And thanks for the article about Alan Eames. I've been to Gleason's Package Store and to Three Dollar Dewey's Ale House in Portland. You could borrow board games there so we'd spend the afternoon drinking Black & Tans and playing Parcheesi.
