Saw that Joe Cocker passed away...damn, this has been a rough year. Nobody left it out there like Joe:

Lovely man. So many people I care about die around Christmas.

One of us who died in the summer is mentioned here: http://www.penbaypilot.com/article/eric ... ions/45757

A number of you are mentioned as well.

Jon, who is your guy?

Tramp, it looks like they are still in business. Pick out the figures you like , I'll order and paint them up.

One of our cats peed on the ZW transformer and that slowed things.

I've got an MTH Z4000 dual transformer just sitting around new in the box. Will that get you back up and running?

Tramp,

I think I said this before but it is worth repeating IMO.
Great to have you back in the Jungle or anywhere on MTJ.

Jon, if that transformer works similar to the ZW (this was a newer one), I'm in. I guess Lenny's pee eventually corroded the insides, then I noticed burning, so it must have shorted. It looked pretty ugly inside when I opened it.

Did you read this? http://www.penbaypilot.com/article/eric ... ions/45757 Since you and I were the main listeners for the beverage cart, I thought you might enjoy it.

One thing you guys might notice is that I didn't mention anything in my column that would allow strangers to find our forum and thread.

WOW. Wowowowwee, Dennis! That is beautiful. Atmospheric and cool as can be. So many expert touches I'm going to remember, like: gently gathered snowfall along the edges of the foundations; "de-snowed" tracks immediately behind the car's tires (!!!!!!!); some lighted windows (not entire edifices); general tones and weathering of buildings indicating a common circa; cafe curtains with miniature plaid/pattern (!!!!!!); sidewalks with metal-appearing drain openings. Wow. We all recognize when we have seen a master's work because we can see - feel and sense - the truth of it.

Thanks for the kind words, Murph. I had a lot of fun creating that scene on my Sandy Harbor. It's actually the shot on our Christmas card.
