Next round on me. Damn that whole thing was emotional. Jon, I must say, I liked that engine. I thought you had it until the very last second. Did you get my messages?

Tramp, Your coaching would have made Vince Lombardi proud!! You called me at the 8 minute mark and then the 3 minute mark. But to be honest, when the bidding hit $450.00 I was beginning to have reservations on the sanity of the purchase, as Frank-In-Steam kindly pointed out.

"There is always another one out there." With very few exceptions that is the rule to remember. Auctions can be weird. Never go to one after drinking 10 Ballantine pounders. I found this out one summer evening. Yikes.

Jon, what happened to our 400. limit anyway? I think we were both drinking! I was calling out the bids to D as if you were in the boxing ring. It wasn't a prize fight, it was an auction. We got to remember that too.

Jon, we'll find you one for 400.

Can I buy a round for the crew? I feel like we've weathered the storm. Things seem back to normal.

It's 55 degrees out. Full moon. Crazy night in coastal Maine for mid-November.

Beer all the way around, Brothers!!! Hey, I made the decision last night after the auction to put the money on the K-4 with Scott and Gary at 3rd Rail. I just can't imagine a layout without one. Now for the good news. Gary said if enough people call Scott and demand a Dreyfuss, he'll make one. PLEASE!!! Call Scott at 1-800-3rd-rail and request one be made!!!!!!!
I would be much more comfortable with a new 3rd Rail, flywheel motored, TMCC controlled version. :D :D (now those are some sweet pulled down panties!!!)

Doo doodoo doodoodoodoo doo doodoo doo
Doo doodoo doodoodoodoo doo doodoo doo
I don't want to work
I want to bang on the drum all day
I don't want to play
I just want to bang on the drum all day
Ever since I was a tiny boy
I don't want no candy
I don't need no toy
I took a stick and an old coffee can
I bang on that thing 'til I got
Blisters on my hand
Because I don't want to work
I want to bang on the drum all day
I don't want to play
I just want to bang on the drum all day
(*glug, glug, glug*) ←(beer)
I don't want to work
I want to bang on the drum all day
I don't want to play
I just want to bang on the drum all day
I don't want to work
I want to bang on the drum all day
(*glug*..ahhhhhhhhh)

Next round's on me
