No cell phone, period. The last American hold-out.

I'll get one when my 14 y.o. daughter starts dating. Her boyfriend may need to be rescued.

I'll bet if I modeled that, prospective customers would think the model was defective, or that I was "loozin-it".

Just got done diggin' a very big hole in hard clay to bury the Great Dane, who had to be put down this morning. Poor old guy's back end was goin' and we've been doctorin' with meds and laser treatments, but his time had come. He was in a lot of pain even after the upped meds, and he just whined and cried all night. I'm a bit sad and I'll miss him, but my wife is just devestated. Probably in a couple of weeks, she'll be online lookin' at the animal rescue site again. RIP, Sampson. :(

I am sorry to hear that Mitch. Loosing a pet can be sad, dogs being such close friends makes it worse.

RIP Sampson. :(

Pets, like dogs and cats, become a part of us, so perhaps in that way they never totally leave us. I am sorry for your loss, Mitch.

Mitch, sorry to hear about your dog.

I didn't know about Jim.He seemed to be a very nice person.Late condolences to his family.
I think he played trains with some grand kids and always reported their visits.

Thanks Wayne.

Thanks Wayne.

I was stunned to read this from Wayne, too. Just the other day, I was going to ask about Jim, as I had done several times previously, here, but didn't this time. I remember him as you do, Roger, with his putting his trains up each Christmas for a particular grandaughter. I am sorry to hear he's gone. Somehow, through these printed pages, his very pleasant personality came through.
