Hev, bird goes in the brine tomorrow. Beer goes in the bud tomorrow as well. We're hunkered down ready for the storm, and I hope it tracks in serious and strong. Chevrolet is under its cover, yard is raked, cord wood and pellets stocked in the basement. Tin cup is polished and waiting.

Good bit of storms rolled through this afternoon. The smoked turkey gets picked up tomorrow and the ale is chilling in the fridge. The only thing that could make it any better would be an invitation to go bowling with some gangsta's.

Oh yeah, Hev

Storm total here was 4.2" of rain in 24 hrs, three of it in a five hour span. Those State College boys prove once again they have no idea what they're talking about.

Tramp, you might want to keep a weather eye out. If this does for you what it did for us, you'll have some digging to do; at least for us it was self-shovelling.

We're rather weary of rain in southern PA.

Meanwhile, a happy Thanksgiving to you all from Dungfield Manor!

If memory serves me right, and what I was told about these two as well, then that's probably some one else's blood on that boy,

Needless to say, the cheerful-twins, there, would be the perfect customers for ear and lip piercings of all sorts (I can just picture it,) not to mention a few well-placed tats. Eh?

Anyone else buttoned down for SNOW?

Tramp,

Turkey arrived today.

I don't drink anymore, but then don't drink any less either!

If we had in snow what we had in rain last night, we would still be shoveling next Easter!

Happy Thanksgiving to You and Daisy and all the other Bo's

Wow Rufus! Your entire family is visiting for Thanksgiving? How mooooving.

The weather is really cold here. I'm acclimated to desert summer... anything below 100°F is cold to me.

We have been getting dry rain here in the desert, i.e. I go out in the rain, feel drops on my hands, but do not get wet. My rain gauge has drops on the inside, but nothing to measure. The weather service claimed the last rain measured 0.17 inches.

My son Michael is cooking turkey this year. He called to say he wants to have Thanksgiving at our house this year, so he will bring it up tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
