Tell Ricky to put up a stall in his barn!

Got your card

I mailed that thing at 2:00 PM yesterday!
And it got there in 24 hours??? WOW!!

Loved the pictures of the snow squall down there. It's like you got your car stuck on the tracks and it's bearing down like a highballing freight!

The tree looks absolutely perfect, Tramp & Daisy. You will imbue it w/ magic, now, I am sure.

Tramp,

Anxiously awaiting the finished tree.

How high is that ceiling? The tree looks tall.

There must be something wrong with your postal service or they didn't get their directive yet.Mail delivered in a day just can not be.In our area it takes at least three days to deliver within twenty five miles. It often takes more than a day to deliver mail in the same [small] town.

Roger, that tree is just shy of 11 feet. I finally managed to get the top ornament 1/2 inch from the ceiling.

Second installment with lights. Do you guys hate putting on the lights as well? I think there are 900 on that tree.

Roger, you could put up a basketball hoop in those rooms. You could throw a frisbee, or fly balsa-&-rubber-band airplanes in those rooms.

 :D

Or conversely, imagine the size of the tree. It's almost as wide as the space between the pocket-doors. Looks to me like it's getting close to 6 feet wide at the bottom. The thing's a monster!!

Daisy and Tramp, looking beautiful!

Threw me a curve ball, there. Not sure what you mean, but then, I was so dang fried, and tired, I'm maybe not remembering what I wrote.

Not like me to be quoting biblical verse, however.

Maybe I should start, however. Here goes:

"Get thee into a nunnery..."

Oh never mind. That's Shakespeare.

Here's the Falcon for Christmas. I'll try to piece together a tree story for Pete if I get the time. It's kind of a grim story with a happy ending as you'll see from forthcoming photos, though these trees are difficult to capture on film.

Tramp,

Using the cat to lead into how you feel about presents was really cool. Another masterpiece in composition.

Your cat gives you dead birds? Our cat gives me live birds. I know what you mean about the "cat talk" when they are offering a present. It is not the usual, "Meow." Sounds like some kind of cat chatter. I hear it and here comes Cat-From-Hell with a bird or mouse in the house. (We have a cat door in the people door.) Cat-From-Hell drops the poor animal at my feet and it immediately runs or flies away--in the house--with Cat-From-Hell in hot pursuit.

I have learned to take the birds, so that they do not fly in the house, running into mirrors and windows, feathers flying with each collision. I turn them loose outside while Cat-From-Hell is looking around trying to figure out where it went.

The mice are a problem because I do not have the cat's finesse to pick them up without getting bit. I have to wait for Cat-From-Hell to catch them again and then put them both outside.

Jon, it works on my box. Sorry about that because I think you'd really enjoy this one.

Wayne, CFH looks like quite a character. I've been handed the live bird as well. The cat door makes that more usual. At least there aren't any mice left around these parts, but D used to get giant fruit rats dropped into the house every day in Florida. Another reason not to live there.

Third tree installment picture. I still need to tinsel.

Tramp,

Beautiful tree. Are the candle holders clip on or counterbalance style? Do you keep a fire extinguisher nearby when candles are lit?
