LMAO, Frank!! Yes, my clan is many.
I've often wondered why all the other kids on the block got trains for their birthday or Christmas, but on mine, dad always gave me machine guns.

And those are just the pre-op boys in Jon's family. You should see the real girls.

The MachineGun your "firing"...is that a .50 caliber?
Bob Porter: Looks like you've been missing a lot of work lately.
Peter: I wouldn't say I've been 'missing' it Bob.

I'm sure those ladies could show the Taliban what a little fingernail polish and mascara can really do.

Nevets, Yes, it's an M-2 Browning .50 still in use by the military. The one behind it is a Browning .30

Yow - looks a G.Gordon Liddy convention.

RE the 3rd Rail Hudson - I am still looking at the J3a from 2002 from Lionel (6-28072), I might have one at a little under 700. (I never did buy those K-Line Mikes). Does 3rd Rail offer one with J3a options (inset feedwater heater, Scullin disc drivers) and a standard tender. What does the PT require in termns of radius?

Doggone it, Tramp, now Im gonna be buyin' brass again. The last time that happened when I was a lil' HO guy, I got in a lot of trouble here on the homefront, if you know what I mean...

When I was a kid, that's the kind of war games I would've loved to have played.

Amalie, seems to be a spring fever thing. Even I'm dying to get another one. I wish Jon would give us a comparision of cast to brass since he just made the switch. Any possibilty of that, Jon?

WOW!! Things are heating up in here!!!

Amalie, 3rd Rail offers the Hudson in a J1a and a J1e version. No scullin discs.

Tramp, from what Ive noticed so far, the brass has a much smoother surface compared to a cast surface. There are no "cast in" pipes on the brass engines as there are on my cast engines. The brass engines all have sprung drivers where my cast engines don't. A very important difference is that the brass engines sit properly over the trailing trucks without the common gap found on my cast models. Also the wheels on the front trucks are the proper size as compared to the under sized wheels of my cast units.
