Well there ya' hav it - it's no wonder they died young in those early days of civilization; wasn't 30 considered old? Yup. Yeegods, bloodsausage! Why not just walk up to a cow and stab it in the neck and suck the plasma right out fresh!...... Oh wait, that is done in Africa  However,I saw blood-sausage, in person, at a fancysmancy NYC Brazilian restaurant some years ago and was traumatized just to see the poor thing layin' there on the gal's plate next to me. When I saw her savor and slurp that baby in, I figured she was too....ah er.....ah...macho for me, so I paid the bill, in due course, and beat a hasty retreat, declining any "desert" for the dinner rendered. See - I am a reasonable man.
Speaking of epicurean challenges/thrills, once when I was visiting a largely Arabic-American neighborhood, campaigning for public office, I was invited to inspect and enjoy, if I were so moved, a whole line-up of sheeps testicles, looking for all the world like large, shiny goose eggs. I declined the treat, saying I had just eaten, but expressed gratitude for a pair of them that were wrapped to-go. How nice. .

Jon:

The first rifle there in the rack, is it a M1 or a M14? I can't tell the picture is a little dark right there. Also is the fifth one an Enfield? Are they all yours?

jim
P.S. Nice arms room.

Jim, Actually the 1st rifle is a Swedish Ljungman AG-42. And there are a couple British .303's in the mix. Yes, I own them, also.

Jon:

I also have a Enfield IV and a SKS Russian. I like you collection also. I don't have a M14 or M1 either. Since my eye problem I haven't been out to target practice. I used to love punching paper but can't do too much anymore. The wife has been after me to get rid of mine but so far I haven't. I would like to have someone come to the house that could take the whole collection but haven't found anyone in the area to do so.

Jim, one of my Enfields is an SMLE Mk III and the other is a No. 4 Mk I. Also if your wife insists on you turning your collection loose, run them up to Hev's house, he'd be happy to hold them for me!! :D

Andre, the fire escapes made it in and they look great on the building!! I'll post photo's shortly!

Aahhh yes, I knew I saw that look and affect before. If that's you there, Highrailjon, you look a lot like Robert DeNiro in Taxi,"Are you talkin' to me? Well, if not, then who are you talkin' to..."

LOL, Murph! Yes, that's actually me (from a couple of years ago)! I don't know about the diNiro resemblence, maybe more of a cross between Foghorn-Leghorn and Shemp!!
Working some more overtime at the hanger today. I should be home in time for the pre-game show and some cold beverages. :D

Only about 3 more hours to go for Super Bowl 43...can't wait...

G O S T E E L E R S !

My daughter and son-in-law are bringing the 3 kids over to watch the game on the 42" HD TV. Her and the 3 kids have Pallamala(SP) #43 jersey's on. We didn't do anything else for the Steeler game so far this year so the wife says we don't do anything different to day. We have a Steeler Troll on the TV, a Steeler sticker on my train show case and a Steelers champion coke can on top of the case from Super Bowl 40.
