That would require an arousal of the cow mind to special unusual activity or creativity. A cow brain is not capable of that kind of activity.
I remember visiting a dairy farm when I was a kid. There someone only had to bring the alpha cow (the one with the cow bell) in for milking, then all the others would follow.
Jon,
Thank you. That is the best image I have seen of the Xingu label.

Wayne, Thank Tramp the artist!!! It's a beauty!!!
I'd like to contribute on the discussion of cows and hay, but my only input would be the end result of the mixture of both which appears in great quantity where I work.

It is indeed. Truly an inspired work of art.
I think the stuff at work is, "Bull sheeat." Unless you have a milder form of it than I did.

Re: Hobo Jungle
I can now see, more clearly, why several of you have bonded long before I got here. You appear to have a genuine appreciation of life inside your hearts. You love the earth, have known the soil, love animals, and enjoy the camaraderie of hoisting a few tall-ones with friends, even if you are only doing so in a virtual tavern. You remind me of a song I heard years ago that said, something along the lines, that the only things in life worth a nickle are children, watermelon wine, and a good dog. Well, I suspect we have all had the joy of discovering many things in life that are worth our respect and affection, but the feeling I got from that song, which is similar to the impression I have of the club here, is that you appreciate one another, model trains, and the trust implicit in having a civil conversation with a person you can respect and would do much to protect and defend.
As I said before, this is a nice place to be - a very nice place.

Murph, I feel I can speak for the rest of us vagabonds that you presence here is certainly an asset. You just have to be cautious when ever someone buys the next round, you never know if it's gonna be a good stout ale or a cow pie!!!

Re: Hobo Jungle
Frankly, Highrailjon, both would be welcome! I've had a few of both along my trail and didn't mind either. Some things are just good for you, no matter how they feel at the moment or later.
Re: Hobo Jungle
I'll second the motion, Jon. Definitely an asset!
Matter of fact, I'll get the next round!

No worries, mate!!! There's plenty of these waders hangin' around Gomers Pub for just such "rounds"(and tall tales, to boot!!!)

Matter of fact, even the barmaids are prepared for Pete's arrival!!!

Re: Hobo Jungle
Ditto Murph. Gomer, I've got the third round.
Murph, sometimes we drink and socialize in the Hobo Jungle (name of this thread), but it has been a little cold recently and we have been going over to Gomers.

Have you met Gomer yet? I think he just went into back room to wash some glasses.

Hi Gomer. Have you met Murph? He is one of the newer hobos around here.

Re: Hobo Jungle
It's OK, Murph. I checked the tire pressure in the wheelbarrow (hobo taxicab) this afternoon while I was still sober. I can run ya home easy if your in yer cups. I only dumped DennisB once, I swear; every other time it worked real good.
Long trek over Black Mountain this afternoon with some fellow bikies on 'cross bikes. In the low fifties up on top, and windy, so there was a bit of a chill. It was a good time for a bunch of fifty something guys trying to ride bike like they were twenty. Why do we do this and carry our bikes more than ride them? Nobody went to the hospital or jail, so it turned out good.
Returned home to spinach salad with pine nuts/pears, baked ziti, hot french bread, and Zinfandel.
San
PS: Damn, Jon, whar's my 'barrow in them pictures? Howam I gonna get Murph home if I have ta go lookin' fer it drunk?

Peace is not the absence of conflict. Peace is the presence of justice.

Re: Hobo Jungle
Well, I certainly see more clearly, now, the advantages of hangin' out with you guys - Pete's Pub (complete with buns in the window - obviously a quality place) and Gomer's, another place where once you drop something on the mensroom floor it stays dropped. And as far as the "Women in Waders" catalogue is concerned, there we have proof-positive that wearing rubbers does not diminish the sensation whatsoever!
Nyuk nyuk.
Murph (burp...excuse me!)
Oh, and Del Mar, once the Beemer is ready - I'm having longhorns attached to the front end - remember Webenda recommended that li'l upgrade, a short while ago - you can drive me home in it. Put the wheelbarrow in the trunk. The dealership is just having a hard time of it getting their heads wrapped around the idea of bullhorns on my bucket-o-bolts, but I'll make it worth their while. After all, if Wayne doesn't know how to properly equip a car for a visit to Texas, who does?

You answered your own question San. It is an adventure far more exciting than any Disneyland ride and you all survived.
