Kurt,

It not just government jobs that are like that. All over corporate America salary personnel are doing everything but working.

When I retired this year, I called all the HR personnel and left messages with their answering service that I was ready to process out and needed the forms to fill out. By the next day no one had responded, so I walked over to their building. Everyone was clustered in groups gossiping about what some dumb employee had done now, or what color sheets they liked. I approached one group and asked for the forms. One reluctantly went to her desk and got some forms. About half way through the process of getting the different departments to sign off the forms, I was told I had the old forms... I would have to start over with current forms.

That is only one example. When Howard Hughes was asked how many people worked for him, he responded, "About 80%." Today that number would be too optimistic.

My dear family and friends,

This is somewhat embarrassing to admit, but I'm not getting an annual bonus and Christmas is tight this year. I will be making bedroom slippers for you all as gifts. Please let me know your sizes. You'll most likely agree that it's a splendid idea, and should you wish to do the same, I've included the instructions below. The choice of color of the slipper is somewhat limited, but I can accessorize with any color you like.

How to make bedroom slippers:

You need four maxi pads to make a pair.
Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part.
The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top.
Tape or glue each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part.
Decorate the tops with whatever you desire: silk flowers, novelty pins, ribbons, etc.

These slippers are:
* Soft and Hygienic
* Non-slip grip strips on the soles
* Built in deodorant feature keeps feet smelling fresh
* No more bending over to mop up spills
* Disposable and biodegradable
* Environmentally safe
* Three convenient sizes: (1.) Regular, (2.) Light and (3.) Get out the Sand Bags.

I've attached a photo of the first pair I made so that you can see the nifty slippers for yourself....

Awaiting your response.. It's crucial that I get the right size for each one of you.

AG,

Make sure you take yuor camera with you when you go to the store to pick up several large cartons of supplies to take a picture of the cashiers face.

I would not explain what they are for,just model the ones you have pictured.

I Liked that one, Wayne: "Children are little mirrors of their parents. " That's a keeper. Succinct. True.

Wayne,,,All,,,I don't agree with Barack politically,,,HOWEVER,,,We DON'T need this right now or ever in this country!!
There would be NOTHING to gain what so ever if this happened other that a WHOLE lot of people dying for a stupid, racest, knot headed,backward a33 thinking that, somehow that would make a situation better!
That's sad right there!
