New website protocol

Postby ScaleCraft » Tue May 19, 2020 3:37 pm

Since I carefully watched all the changes as they happened, I just checked and he did.
Secure protocol website is now what we have. http:// works, but you might want to change your bookmarks to https://, which is what I am on now.

One of the last non-secure sites I use.

I just added the "s" and the "padlock" security icon is showing that it is secure. Thank you, Dave, for the information.

Please remember that I don't know much about this (or anything for that matter) but how do I add that S and where?
You gotta be very specific when or if you tell me how.

I went to the MTJ icon in my toolbar at the top of the screen, right-clicked with the mouse, selected properties, highlighted the URL (http://), then added the "s" (https://), and then closed the pull-down menu. At that point you are done.

I just found on the MTJ homepage that the s is there.
Do I need to do this anywhere else?
Thanks, Dave (s).

Hmm. I've edited the book mark to use https://, clicked on the link supplied and whatever I do, it still shows up as "Not Secure" in the toolbar.

Any ideas?
