The concept of communications intersects with the concept of compartmentalization......a model microcosm of both Congress and our entire political system.

How else can you correctly identify the innocent so they may be blamed.

Hey, we got one in our own back yard week before last. A tree came down in some folks yard onto the neighboring property. A local Nationwide Insurance agent comes out to assess the damage, and notices strange plants growing in the yard where the tree fell. Thinkin' it was dope and the Insurance company could get out of payin' damages, he calls the Buffalo Twp. police, who arrive with semi-swat team, break the door of the house down, drag out the 59 year old wife and lock her in the back of a police cruiser in her underwear, then the husband comes home from the store and they pummel him to the ground and cuff and stuff him. Then they discovered that the plants were not marijuana. It was hibiscus. You'd think a friggin' cop would know the difference! Nationwide and Buffalo Twp. are being sued. This one actually made Fox & Friends in the morning on national television. I just love it when a good plan comes together.

I saw that one on the news the other day. The couple are suing the police and the insurance company.

Yeahwell, looking one of them in the face does inspire a certain amount of guilt, in me (alone?), and the same goes for chickens and turkeys, too, if anybody's askin'. However, I'm not sure of what's looking back at me, on the inside of those eyes. Yet, I can see Vegatarians' points. Thus, I eat beef only approximately 2 - 3 x's per year, if that much, with the exception of the occasional meatball trying to escape from my plate before capture.

Life is complicated.

We live in such a scary world. Police can screw up and make mistakes, but this episode is just unbelievable. This is a case where I hope the jury goes overboard with the award and he dumb*ss cops get fired or demoted. Again, "common sense" is just not common anymore.

My niece names the cattle and then seems to have no problem eating them.

Ok, so no beef? Chicken? Fish? Others?

Well, yes on the chicken and turkeys, though I have not often looked any of them in the eyes (I get largely ignored when the turkeys trundle through my yard, squawking away, so I can't get a good peer into their eyes), Yet, I have some guilt. Fish - don't eat them , but only because I find them boring - taste-wise, that is.

Beef? I did have one miniscule piece (from my wife's restaurant leftovers of Sunday) of beef-tips (approx. 1 cu. in.) as part of my breakfast this morning, and found myself chewing for a few seconds until the flavor had departed, and expectorated the lump into a napkin.

Just remember that they are only miniature dinosaurs and just eat away...

I have a hard time believing that at this point in your life that you have not had properly prepared fish! I had some exceptionally tasty fish while in NYC...

I made sauerbraten from an eye roast that I sliced up for last Fri dinner and no chewing was required - fork tender and melts in your mouth.........some rotekohl on the side, but sadly there were no spaetzle.

When I was in the second grade, I spent most of the year raising piglets. They play with you like dogs and are quite attentive and just fun to be around. Also, seem generally quicker on the uptake than most dogs are. They were delicious.
