This is a link to an HO, yes, HO model railroad! Spectacular is the first thing that comes to mind.

Burn Him!

Oh, I thought he was a witch....

Never mind.
Some people have no idea what they are doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.

So the only thread that gets any attention here is an HO thread? There has to be a message here.

I've got a fair amount of half zero stuff. Varney 2-8-0's, a Varney (sprung) Super Mikado, two handfuls of F units, Docksiders, NW/SW switcher...some PennLine, lots of old Mantua Mikados, and various other Mantua stuff, John A. English...and cars....Ulrich, Varney, Roundhouse (cast!) even pre-war Varney paper side cars...no plastic.
Doorstops. But they all run.

Sounds like you're jealous. Hint: Post something better!

I am jealous. On the other hand, O Scale is an elite group - we don't need to discuss our hobby.

I too am jealous, but only of the amount of "stuff" available in that gauge.

This thread reminded me that we had a long-running thread by "taycotrains(?)" called "Vintage HO" (or something similar) that was quite interesting. Heck, even I was able to contribute to that one!

Okay. If you insist. I must warn you that I was an HO modeler when I was in grade school, and still have all but a couple in a box. Even worse, I have duplicated most of my favorites in O Scale or 17/64 - the one remaining is the Dockside.

Oh, and so far nobody other than Division Point has produced my favorite drop-bottom gon in O Scale, so all you will get is HO versions - the Ulrich variety.

So next week I shall do the HO photo session. You will be sorry.

PSC did an SP drop bottom gon. Might have been a second road name, but I can't recall.

MG did 2 versions and there were others as well as the recent kit from Glacier Park.

Only in the minds of some - the lack of need is scale indifferent - need does not enter into it at all.

The only reason why there is not more here is because few here actually do any model building.
Some people have no idea what they are doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.
