Westerns...........
The Searchers generally tops my list along with Stagecoach and High Noon...with 3:10 to Yuma not far behind.
But, I've always had a soft spot for Once Upon a Time in the West and then there is Seraphim Falls

A special place for "Stagecoach".
Overnight halt in Subic Bay, several of us crossed the sewer bridge and went to some little shit theatre after getting sloshed. They showed "Stagecoach". It was overdubbed in Japanese. Funniest dam thing I ever saw in a moviehouse.
I can't watch "Stagecoach" with a straight face to this day.

Blazing Saddles is my go to western with the Good, the Bad and the Ugly as runner up.
My mother used to love that movie. I can still see her holding her hands to her face in embarrassed laughter. I loved that reaction of hers. And I've been trying to recall if there were any quote-able-quotes from that movie. Wasn't something clever said just after the African-American character said, "Oh, boooooyyys..." ?

How about: "I have to go separate my gold from Mr...." (spoken as a beautiful Lincoln Continental was beginning to be crushed-up in a car-compactor machine)

I think you have that slightly out of order; Gene Wilder's character calls out to the KKK characters, "Hey, boys! Look what I got here!" to which Cleavon Little responds with the line you are thinking of "Hey! Where The White Women At?

That's it! Thank you ! It's been a long time since I sat with mother and saw that movie, which was not a personal favorite. Just my mother's amusement was a personal favorite.

Re: Favorite Movies
It's hard to find a scene w/o a memorable line in it in that movie.
BTW....
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your stewardess speaking... We regret any inconvenience the sudden cabin movement might have caused, this is due to periodic air pockets we encountered, there's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you enjoy the rest of your flight... By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

There was a clever line in that movie where one of the Ghostbusters talks about the Sigourney Weaver "girlfriend" character being change into ( or back from?) a dog.

Is that a personal quote Roy, or one you picked up from the movie.
