When the railroad through town was still SCL, now and then a train would stop and block several crossings ( no main ones) while a trainman ran across the street to get some hot dogs at a convenience store. Seems the train in the video could have done the same.

Interesting and surprising. Doesn't seem to be anything going on unusual there judging from the guy walking across the tracks or the rest of the traffic.

Runaway tank car anywhere else might get a little more attention
