I've acquired a few painted USH tank cars over the years that need new decals or some heavy weathering to make them look right. Got to find some trucks too, as they came with RY P-48 trucks and I'm not going that way.

You should make back the value of the car selling those RY P48 trucks...

Yeah, I paid about the going rate for cars without trucks, so whether I find someone to trade with for OW5 trucks or sell these P-48's and use Athearns or ?? I'll be fine.

Much to my surprise, the Athearn market seems to be getting tighter...

Butch - if you are considering selling the RY P:48 trucks, I'd be interested in buying.

Thanks! This one was just opportunistic.

I've finally located my tank car placard sign files and gotten a "few" printed. Now I have to re-visit my tank cars and add the placard signage to them - that little splash of color seems to add a bit of interest.

The placard signs really do make a difference. They DO stand out.
