Wanted to add a screened-in porch. City said it counted as a room on a house that is at the size limit for our bitty lot. So I had it built without walls. It's OK as a roofed patio...Can't put a layout there, of course.

I was wondering that myself - it's the CVRR right of way so that became PRR and then PC and then CSX and it was all ripped up decades ago....so there might have been a little shortline subsidiary that handled the switching on this line up through Lemasters to Mercersburg.

I have a photo that I will post later at another CVRR station that has a similar (the same?) engine in a 3/4 view but I can't read the road name on the side

Yes, but at least some of these stations still exist and are preserved in some fashion vs. all the rest that are long gone....

Many in our small town in SE GA are now lamenting the loss of the railroad station and some other railroad buildings.
Just a little late, they were removed @ 50 years ago.
