Indeed. My comment regarding hilarity was sarcastic.

OTOH, I can think of a specific relative deserving of such.......

That is downright disgusting!

While the music is certainly not my cuppa, nor is urban culture for that matter, I'll speak to the guy in the group who goes by will.i.am.

William Adams is an amazing man. He has invested large sums and great effort in the FIRST Robotics competition series, getting kids, especially inner-city kids, enthused about engineering and technology. He sponsors many kids from the ghetto both financially and by personal involvement, through school and college, and not to be musicians telling them no-one "needs another musician, they need more enterpreneurs like Gates". He also has done quite a bit in conjunction with Intel, not just as a celebrity name, but real creative work.

He could spend it all on himself, but is instead a true philanthropist. Not only does he freely invest the money, he invests his time. I can very much respect this guy.

That sign is/was leaning up against the wall at the motel I was in last week; probably a knock-down and was put in that "alcove" for safe
keeping. Either that or one of the motel employees stole it and was hiding it from the fuzz.
