Sinus openers??? Try four cats and a two week old litter box!

Just got back from the Chantilly Greenberg show. Ugh! What prices! The new Bachmann On30 diseasel with sound at $295 plus the governors ransom! Don't need more than one of those! The old 98 cent N-gauge cars at $30? Think I'll buy another AK-74!

Hmmm, I do not think that I would ever want to visit; between the military stories and the guns, we would never get to the trains!

Jon,

When the next four months are over do you plan on staying in the "armpit of the South"?

I retired 15.5 years ago and was asked if I was going back north, moving south or what.
Many people didn't understand when I said I was staying here.
[I includes my wife.If she wanted to move We would have.]
I was 65 and was not far from good doctors and hospitals and didn't want to find new ones.
Weather is pretty good also.Taxes are very low for me.People leave me alone.

I sort of took your advice Jon. Greenbergs was fresh out of that model so I went across the street and found a nice DPMS LR-308/AR-10. Hope to be able to try it out during the New Year's celebrations. Shouldn't be too noticeable. Hope my 1000 round order from SG gets here in time! Quantico Tactical, down the road from me, has a nice sale on 30 rounders going on.

2A forever!!!!!!!

Roger, I pray that the water in Pembroke now tastes and smells better than that putrid concoction I encountered in the Fort Stewart area 30 years ago! What was in the water then, alligator pee?

Very nice affordable and reliable .308 AR! The carbon blow back from the direct impingement gas system on the BCG will require a lot of scrubbing!
Shoot it, clean it, enjoy!!! :D

LOL, Roger!!! I wish!!! I truly miss the actual four seasons! Seeing as my better half's mother resides in this state,
it's a pretty well known fact southern girls don't live to far off from their mothers!!!

Tony,

I have been in this town that even people that are born here argue over how to pronounce for
26 years and the water has been better than many other places I lived. Now and then a little too much chlorine.

Some say Pem broke [I do] and some say Pem brook [the person that the town is named for].

That says a lot. Not a bad thing to develop a cordial relationship with they who deliver stuff to your abode. Being nice to these people generally is reciprocated with good service, and it doesn't cost that much to be nice.

Jon, First, Thanks for your service to this country. As for the 4 seasons, the novelty wears off round about February in this neck of the woods, and the older you get, the longer that one season (hint, hint, nudge, nudge WINTER) seems to last.

Take care,
Rich
