Weekend Photos - 2/9/18

Postby christopher2035 » Fri Feb 09, 2018 8:59 am

Happy Friday! Decided to put a layer of ceiling tile down on the board. Should help with the noise a bit & forms a good base for the scenery. Also had to remove a couple of accessories, as I thought the board was looking a bit too cluttered. Still trying to find a way to work the 352 Ice Station back in, but not sure I can find a spot where it works.

Christopher, you are a layout building machine. Is designing and building more fun than operating a completed layout?
This latest one is more my style (old fashioned toy train fun.)

When I got my first automobile my favorite place to drive and hangout was Cajon Pass, California.

When I saw this Mean Mary production I immediately recognized the Mormon Rocks located west of highway 15 just before the tracks turn and head toward Summit, Cajon Pass.

I chose my pace and set my course
To catch this demon on the run
My steed against this iron horse

Nice to see the Flyer 787 log-loader made the cut:

I have one in a box around here somewhere, along with a few other Flyer accessories. Need to get that stuff out and on the layout.
