Santa Rosa

Just tried to check on my O Scale buddies in and around Santa Rosa. Gersh's business phone is disconnected, and for some strange reason I don't have Howard's. Anybody know that they made it unscathed?

Contact! Howard is ok, and Gersh is in Healdsburg, apparently well clear of the fire. I have no recollection of a fire that did as much damage as this one.

Russ and Jane Clover got evacuated but are back home now. He says the smoke is pea soup.

It's been a BAD year for disasters between the hurricanes, fires, and the lunatic in Vegas. My prayers go out to the victims.
