And then the redhead spots this as she's pulling out the lane:

Look at the dings and dents on his back, the hardness of 'character', the tough set of his jaw, and the baleful look from his one good eye. He's obviously been around the block a few times, road-traveled and battle-tested.

Guess that's why the kids have taken to calling him "One-Eyed Tramp".

Well, the next post is going to tip this crazy road-traveled and battle-tested thread onto it's 500th page. And that ain't no small thing.

Howboutit, One-Eyed Tramp?
You should do the honors! 8)

Walmart, K-mart, they seem to be everywhere. Pete, thanks for thinking of me.

Way she goes.

Hey, I've discovered something rather good. It's called beer. Any of you hobos heard of it before?

Labor Day weekend!

Well, since it's the 500th page, this may as well be about beer. The ever thrifty wife thought she spotted a deal on the best of Cerveceria Modelo, S.A. De C. V. Mexico, D.F. Corona Extra. It tastes like piss. Trouble is, she was so happy about the "deal" she got and the fact that I am not throwing good money after bad down at Omar's Circle K, now I have to drink them. All 18 of them.

San, when beer is sold at a discount it's usually out of code. When you drink it, do you feel like you've been hit in the head by a 2X4? Old beer!

2 X 4 about sums it up. The next morning you feel like you've been drinking liquid cardboard.
