From one of the reports I read today. apparently this ISIS has moved into Russia also. Looks like we will be getting some more of those Boston Bomber type refuges as they infiltrate the US.

My psychiatrist told me I was paranoid. :?

I am stuck by some weird force called gravity to a watery rock spinning 1000 mph at the equator and nothing is holding it up! It is just floating in space orbiting a 27 million degree Fahrenheit nuclear fireball at 66,000 mph, which in turn is racing around in a huge galaxy (Milky Way Galaxy) at 483,000 mph.

It gets worse! Every summer clouds build up in the desert with 100 million volts of electrical charge in them. They discharge to the ground with 200,000 amps heating the air to 53,540 degrees Fahrenheit. Then they charge back up in 60 seconds and do it again, and again, and again.

Yes, yes, Hondo and Webenda, but we still have ice cream.

Let's not ask for the moon when we have the stars.

Wayne,

Spectacular, of course.
What does "non rolling camera shutter" or something like that mean?

Murph,

Didn't you say that a new diet required that you forego ice cream?
Was that wishful thinkling?

I do agree with the thought. Think I'll go get some. YUM. Homemade.

"Non rolling camera shutter" means every pixel (picture element) on the digital sensor is recorded onto memory at one time. "Click" = whole image. Or for a movie, "click, click, click, click, click, etc" = whole frame image recorded at each click.

1962 vs 2012

1962: Long hair
2012: Longing for hair

1962: KEG
2012: EKG

1962: Acid rock
2012: Acid reflux

1962: Moving to California because it's cool
2012: Moving to Arizona because it's warm

1962: Trying to look like Marlon Brando or Liz Taylor
2012: Trying NOT to look like Marlon Brando or Liz Taylor

1962: Seeds and stems
2012: Roughage

1962: Hoping for a BMW
2012: Hoping for a BM

1962: Going to a new, hip joint
2012: Receiving a new hip joint

1962: Rolling Stones
2012: Kidney Stones

1962: Passing the drivers' test
2012: Passing the vision test

Just in case you weren't feeling too old today, this will certainly change things:

Each year the staff at Beloit College in Wisconsin puts together a list to try to give the faculty a sense of the mind set of this year's incoming freshmen. Here's this year's list:

The people who are starting college this fall across the nation were born in 1994 .

They are too young to remember the space shuttle blowing up.

Their lifetime has always included AIDS.

Bottle caps have always been childproof and plastic.

The CD was introduced 4 year s before they were born.

They have always had an answering machine.

They have always had cable.

They cannot fathom not having a remote control..

Popcorn has always been cooked in the microwave.

They never took a swim and thought about Jaws.

They can't imagine what hard contact lenses are.

They don't know who Mork was or where he was from.

They never heard: "Where's the Beef?", "I'd walk a mile for a Camel", or "de plane, Boss, de plane.."

They do not care who shot J. R. and have no idea who J. R. even is.

McDonald's never came in Styrofoam containers.

They don't have a clue how to use a typewriter.

Do you feel old yet?
