Tramp, sounds great, but no eggs?
Jon, come on over and paddle out with me. We'll eat after wave riding and then kick back. Hell, everyone come over. You don't have to surf and you are welcome to eat. Wouldn't it be a hoot to all meet?
Actually, there are a suprising number of people out there in the water on Christmas morning. Something of a ritual and tradition here. Last year one fellow had a water proof player and was broadcasting "Come all ye faithful" as rendered by Myriah Carey. When she sings in Latin, it gets me where I live.
Venite adoramus.

San, I've always wanted to surf. I skied since I was three. This guy that was teaching me to surf stopped me after I couldn't get past the waves--I was trying to go over the top--he said, "Can you swim?" I had to admit the truth. Sad, but apparently you have to learn to swim before you learn to surf.

LOL, Tramp. There's a guy out here named Kahuna Bob who teaches adults to surf. He'll have you up on your feet on the first day, swim or not.
The moves are similar to skiing. You turn by wedging the rails into the water. Start as the wave swells, skid down the face to the trough, turn, walk to the nose and hang ten. I use a leash (no, Daisy, no) to keep the board nearby on wipeouts. Nothing to it and once you have learned, it's like riding a bicycle; you don't forget.

Remember that Land O' lakes chick? Cut her off the package, then slice off her knee's pasting them behind the box she is holding:

Jon, sure do! I used to make them for everyone in school. You used two packages. Slid it back and forth.
Is this the best Christmas ever? I'm finally done tinseling. Got about 30 live candles ready to light on the tree.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL HOBOS!

Mine: 2 beers, big Pinch Scotch, 2 glasses of wine.
Hers: Grey Goose martini. 4 to 1 with Noilly Pratt.

Hers: 2 wines, one spilled.
Missing cocktail napkin--Dasher. Life over.
