3rd floor ballroom.

Tramp, looks like you've got the room for a great layout. Should I load up the truck with the woodworking tools and come up there and help you bang out the benchwork? :?: I'd hate to see those beautiful hard pine floors get scratched up.

So happy you all liked the first shots. My favorite so far is at dusk when you can really start to see the lights in the passenger cars and so forth. I'll shoot one like that soon.

Andre - I'll get one of the cat in there for you! At first he was terrified of them, but after a while he when into his zen master repose position and seems to love them now. He even stuck out one big furry paw very slowly over the top of the freights as they were going by, but Tramp put that idea to rest

Mitch - I know what you mean about the 25 year olds and vinyl! But most audiofiles still have turntables, and not the cheap ones like ours - some of the needles alone are thousands, made of diamond. The sound is much better than digital, just not as convenient to lug around in your pocket.

Tom - We're in Belfast. Even been?

But we're outside today! It's a perfect Maine summer day. Anyone else going to bbq? J*$*#)#N - are you back from camp yet?

Daisy, Thanks for the concern... I survived Drill Weekend. Nothing but a bunch of mandatory classes on the Geneva Convention Rules and Prisoner Of War Treatment. What a bunch of crap. Like one of our captured soldiers was ever shown the same respect.
Anyhow, looking forward to some night shots of the Floor Layout at night!!!
Also, I couldn't resist and expanded my railroad empire to include the C&O Greenbrier. I settled on the 600 Jefferson compared to the modern version, both pictured below. I hope I made the right choice or you'll force me to purchase the second as well!!!!
Beers are on me!!!! :D
Mitch, I'm post-naked...Does that count?

Todd Rundgren say's,,,,,

Leroy, boy, is that you?
I thought your post-hangin days were through,
Sunk-in eyes and full of sighs,
Tell no lies, you get wise,
I tell you now were gonna pull you through,
Theres only one thing left that we can do.

We gotta get you a woman,
Its like nothin else to make you feel sure youre alive.
We gotta get you a woman,
We better get walkin, were wastin time talkin now.

Leroy, boy, youre my friend
You say how and Ill say when
Come and meet me down the street
Take a seat, its my treat
You may not ever get this chance again
That empty feelings just about to end.

Talkin bout life and what it means to you,
It dont mean nothin if it dont run through
I got one thing to say, you know its true
You got to find some time to get this thing together.

Talkin bout things about that special one
They may be stupid but they sure are fun
Ill give it to you while were on the run
Because we aint got time to get this thing together, cause we
Got to get together with a woman who has been around,
One who knows better than to let you down,
Lets hope theres still one left in this whole town,
And that shell take some time to get this thing together.

We gotta get you a woman
And when were through with you,
Well get me one too.

but that's just Todd talkin' though Jon,,,,

Jon, either (and/or) both would be awesome editions, but let's look at what 'cha got. NYC, Pennsy, C&O, Milwaukee Road?, and what else? No dedication to one road; I'm beginnin' to suspect you are a train whore.  How I wish I had the wherewithal to do the same. :P

Marchin' around in circles sucks. During my time in the SeaBees, we just ran up and down the hills twice a year and scared each other.

And, I wouldn't have asked about being naked. We'll leave that to our perverted Hoosier hobo. :)

That is one more advantage of larger scales. When I had an n-gauge layout our cat would jump up onto it and attack the train by swatting it off the rails. When I set up the Lionel Floor layout the cat only watches.

Jon,

New Orleans... is that where you two met?
