Andre, I honestly don't know the history behind the Roy tower. Maybe someone could shed some more light on it. Where's Wayne!!!!!

Oh, oh! Here I am. I have been busy today. After finishing the with the weeds, we grilled chicken and veggies on the barbeque grill. Just put everything up and sat down at the computer.
I know nothing of the Roy Tower, however, it has the look of other structures on the PRR. They had lots of excess money* and built many architecturally interesting structures. It would be interesting to know who the architect was.
* The Pennsylvania Railroad was founded in 1846 and holds the record for the longest continuous dividend history: it paid out annual dividends to shareholders for more than 100 years in a row. For many years the President of the PRR was considered more powerful than the President of the United States. The budget for the PRR was larger than that of the U.S. government. Then, in 1968, the Pennsylvania Railroad merged with their rival, the New York Central Railroad, to form Penn Central Transportation. It was all down hill from that point. On June 21, 1970, one hundred and twenty four years after founding, the greatest railroad in the world filed bankruptcy papers.
Sorry I can’t help here.
