Highrail, I was pullin' for Mark Martin after Tony left the race. I wanted to see if Jack Roush would come over to congratulate him. After Martin drove for him for 19 years, they didn't part company on the best of terms. Pretty good race for a restrictor package. Usually, the wrecks are bigger.

What did Greenberg list it for? You took a beating, huh?

Congratulation, now seat and wait for the e-bay posting fees.........

Actually seeing Stewart and Dale Jr. wreck was the highlight of my race evening!!!! I used to be a Biffle fan when he drove for the Nat'l. Guard, so now I'm pulling for Martin, unless the Marine Corp car gets back in again.
Back to the Dreyfuss- new and pristine they say $1,300.00. Now I know I bought it used and it's in beautiful condition, so I was hoping for somewhere around 800 or 900. Wrong assumption on my part?
But at the same time I'm getting a great deal on the Big Boy. I'm guessing that the resale values have dropped "across the board".

Andre,

Due to the way "normal" is calculated, normal is the year that no one ever experienced. That is a joke that is true. Statisticians hate that joke.

I have notice that we tend to forget or not notice that weather occurs in cycles. Everyone accepts that we have 100 year floods in the southwest. It is actually closer to 88 years (a multiple of the 11.1 year sunspot cycle.)

Wayne, I agree. Now can you figure the cycle of stupidity that affects Hollywood , has-been and aspiring politicians and " scientists" ? It also seems to follow the sun-spot cycles. I don't have the data or facility to process this problem, so it's just a hunch . :)

Roger,

OK. As soon as I finish the Sunspot Cycle vs. NASCAR Destruction Derby study.

We replaced bunches of the 6 into 1s under warranty for cracking. I used to keep a couple repaired ones for emergencies but sold them. Don't torque the end nuts as tight as the others, it allows for a little expansion and helps to prevent cracking.

3 into 2 if I recall, it's an 87, early 4.0 Renix injection, with the pukegoat 5 speed tranny.
I have a Borla sitting in the Garage of Doom, it has been waiting for the engine to be pulled this summer for rebuild.

Hell, it's only got 260,000 miles on her, she should be good for another 250K more! :D

I got lucky when I got it, it's the laredo package, complete with the towing pkg, which gives me the Dana 44 rear axle, the skidplating (for what that stuff is worth, a Tomkin would be better, but that went on the Comanche! That's what the Jeep is in my Avitar)

It even has the limited slip front diff! The Rubicon of it's day!

My comanche has most of the "goodies", Lock-Right in the back, cable front disconnect, 5 inch lift (like a Lionel E-7) axle flip and shaved rear axle, Rusty's lower control arms, Tomkin front bumper, a fabricated back bumper with "wedges" that allow it to "climb" over rocks. (Most MJs have ripped off back bumpers, stuff like rocks and stumps gets in the former spare tire well, and tears out the rear bumper from the center.
My only regret is that Little Ugly only has the 2.5!

Hev, beautiful work.
You're the O. Winston Link of the Jungle!

Guys, I'm in need of some advice. I'm in the market for some anti-virus program.
I have a home computer with DSL. The company in which I am interested has different levels of protection.
Do I buy the spyware/adware addition, or are the 'free' ones sufficient?
Do I need a 'firewall' addition, and if so, why?

(Yes, I am geared for the smug scoffing from the MAC-using Tramp. LOL  )

Iron Butterfly! Penn, are you from the 60's??
