Hev- What a treat!!!! I finally got a chance to make that batch of soft pretzel mix you sent us!!!!! WOW!!! Now thats some good stuff!!! :wink:
As you can see, I'm have'nt quite learned the art of "twisting" the little bastards, yet!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

D makes soft pretzels and I help her twist them up. Jon, a secret is to place a shallow pan in the bottom of the oven and add some water at the same time as the pretzels go in. This gives them a crisp crust. Cheers!

Tramp, Hev's reciepe calls for dipping the rolled pretzels in a mixture of 3 tablespoons of baking soda mixed with 2 cups of water(105 degrees) before throwing them in the oven for browning. Worked like magic!!!! :D
