Seen in Print
Re: Seen in Print
Seen in print, news about the UAW's strike against the United States's three major automobile manufacturers.
The United Auto Workers union expanded its strike to a Ford factory in Chicago and a GM plant in Michigan but spared Stellantis from additional walkouts.

You need to put it in 6 wheel drive.
Re: Seen in Print

I was living in Tucson when this happened. A new engineer turned one way to make a wider turn, then turned the other way and the truck just flipped over.
These pumper trucks carry their own water supply. Turning one way and then immediately the other guarantees maximum slosh of 1000 gallons of water.

Although it's meant as a joke, we are heading this way. How sad.

Wayne, that is an awesome picture. At very first glance, it reminds me of a cross section of a piece of human lung tissue. I was in bedside respiratory care for a couple of decades.

That is interesting, Dan. When I first saw it I thought it was about industrial pollution destroying people's lungs. I was wrong. It is a Wall Street Journal image representing industry's use of multiple cloud data storage. It seems that using multiple cloud storage can be a "tangled mess."

Wayne, I see what you mean about the image showing lung pollutants.

Re: Seen in Print
Yeah, pollution was the first thought that came to my mind and lung tissue fits perfectly. I guess if you read the article about the "cloud" storage problem this would fit, but that would never occur to me without reading the article or being told that.
Fantastic painting whatever the artist had in mind.

Oops! I was wrong again. I failed to read the note preceding the cloud article/advertisement. The Wall Street Journal news department was not involved in producing the cloud image.
