For some reason, that one looks familiar.

When we understand that each day isn’t one more day, but one less, we’ll start giving more value to the things that truly matter.

One of those sweepers would have made quick work of our snow on Friday. I used a push-broom on 1-1/2 inches of powder.

I can remember a few decades back when SEPTA asked to borrow the sweeper that was up at the Rockhill museum. While they were agreeable to a temp loan, arranging transportation with better than 2' of snow on the ground was a slight impediment; I think the response was something long the lines of "Come and get it..." if you can.

Is it my imagination, or does that look like an early attempt at PhotoShop?

Trick photography prior to Photoshop; yes.

Interesting. I like to see where these places are, da google maps and then satellite.
NO PLACE does plain old google talk about a park in North East, Penn named Waynehurst. Lotsa news stories and obituaries for a Wayne Hurst in Penna.
But you can purchase DOZENS of copies of that postcard on da bait.
Where was/is Waynehurst Park?
Doing a search right now in North East to see if I can spot it.

Might be Twentymile Creek. Certainly no parks marked as such on the map, and especially no Waynehurst Park.
