If you can afford it,

That's pretty much a prerequisite for anything in this country...

Yes, and not to be forgotten so you really cannot simply live where you want. You're tied to finances......although in some ways less so if you can work entirely from home,  You're only hook is good internet......which I completely lack in PA where that royally sucks.

My wife and I adopted two babies in California !969 % !971, Both of them are very happy that their teenage mothers didn't abort them,

Our liberal activist would probably prefer they had been aborted. :(

I have a friend that gave away twins when she was 16. It hunted her into her 30’s. One of them got in touch with her. She is very happy he did. She is now a part of his life.

Back to California schools 41 st in the nation, schools shut down for a year and 3/4, highest sales tax, highest income tax, highest gas prices, highest poverty, homeless everywhere fires everywhere, no electricity, no water. A arrogant dictator governor there will be massive fraud and he will survive. He has presidential dreams so he is coming to you.

Other states will copy Texas law.

Not quite - 40th. But look at 41-50....

West Virginia
South Carolina
Mississippi
Oklahoma
Alabama
Louisiana
Arizona
Nevada
Alaska
New Mexico

Notice any correlation here?

schools shut down for a year and 3/4,

Not alone on that; not hardly, and for the best - schools are disease incubators. Anyone that's been a parent knows that......

highest sales tax, highest income tax,

Total tax burden; CA comes in around #10.....

highest gas prices,

And CA is #6 on Per Capita Income by State, so do you want some whine with your cheese?

highest poverty,

Nope, not even close and not even in the top 10

Mississippi: 19.4%
Louisiana: 18.4%
New Mexico: 16.0%
Arkansas: 15.0%
West Virginia: 14.9%
Kentucky: 14.6%
Alabama: 14.4%
South Carolina: 13.9%
District of Columbia: 13.6%
Georgia: 13.5%6

Notice any correlation here?

no electricity, no water.

Really? So you're on the internet using battery power and probably dying now from dehydration?

Other states will copy Texas law.

Sadly, that's the only thing you got correct.

Wait until you see school taxes go up. Online schooling will cost districts a ton if not 2. Over 30 percent of the families in my area have picked cyber charter schools for the last 2 years. Their tuition cost are paid by local school districts. 30 percent of a brick and mortar school's budget goes to online schools. This is causing a big budget problem for local districts. It wont matter who is in charges dems or repubs. In 2 years you will see tax increases out the waazou.

Clearly you don't know since you got everything wrong in your earlier litany of ills regarding CA.

In Newsoms campaign ad's he never lists his accomplishments. Because he doesn't have any, except screwing his best friend and campaign managers wife. A badge of honor in the democrat party.

Newt Gingrich told his wife he was leaving her while she was in hospital with their latest child. Republican thing or just a ******? Don’t even get started on Donald Trump who is the sleaziest bugger in the world on the subject of sexual loyalty.

And it's not just the males.... some of the females are just as sleazy.

How about all those female teachers having sex with their students. I'm disappointed, Somehow I missed out on that part of sex education when I was going to school..

Funny how you keep bringing up Newt. Is he the only Republican you can find?

I am a California transplant - came here kicking and screaming in 1965. We had 100,000 folks in San Diego at the time - it is now five million. All of the open space is gone, and we have a new ordinance allowing a granny flat right up against your neighbors' property line. Traffic is now something to be reckoned with - I cannot move southbound after about 4:15. Good thing I do not have to go anywhere.

I am ready - we can be the land of fruits and nuts, and everybody else can leave for Idaho and Texas. In very short order, Texas will need an influx of political conservatives, and I would be delighted if they came from here.

"Tourists go home, but leave your daughters" - 1970s bumper sticker.

Off to my favorite airport - thank you, conservative aviation taxpayers. Socialism at its finest!

You would be a transplant of wherever you came from, not where you went to.!

PS: Tell us how wonderful it is in a couple more years!
