That would be more fun if the cameraperson walked over to each locomotive and gave us a broadside shot. But it is nice to know that all those folks have maintained their treasures over the years.

Not quite --
3 out of the 5 were restored to operation in just the last few years. D&RGW #315 -- numbered 425 in the video -- was brought back to life about 15 years ago. That restoration started as four model railroaders talking about how the local park locomotive needed to be painted. The fifth one, the Eureka E&P #4, was restored by Dan Markoff in the 1980s in time for the 1991 Railfest in Sacramento.

How about a nice broadside of each? And a description of restoration efforts? The latest C&TS Dispatch did a very nice job of the Pullman restoration, but short shrift to those restored locomotives.
Linda and I are fans of the Chama end, but alas have not made the pilgrimage for years.
