Scale Trains buys MTH HO/S tooling

Well that didn't work. The Atlas announcement is pretty clear about who is producing the passenger cars from MTH tooling.

I think it is that Atlas picked some obscure lines to make.
I always thought that one of the things the MTH guys liked was that MTH would make or catalog some obscure stuff that would be of regional interest
while Lionel was mofre ingterested in national sa[es. Yes, I know there are exceptions.

I think Atlas should make a locomotive for an old line that ran near the Strasburg Railroad - the Lancaster, Oxford, and Southern (Lost, Old, & Slow ).

If they did, it would probably need to be a consolidation or mogel. But knowing them, it would be a Genset switcher.

Under the "warehouse clean out category" I just received my daily "look what we found" from Marios. This is a three car set of Q-Type subway cars from 2007 with ProtoSounds -2.0!

A fifteen year old set that's still mint in the box! There were a couple of other PS-2.0 finds so I guess they really are "cleaning out the warehouse".
